    Chicken Fajita Dip

    Source of Recipe

    Unknown

    List of Ingredients

    2 blocks cream cheese, softened
    1 package taco seasoning (Ortega)
2-3 cups chopped Chicken Fajita meat (we buy this frozen and thaw in microwave then chop)
1 bottle taco sauce (we prefer Ortega)
2 cups +/- shredded cheddar cheese
    Chopped lettuce
    Chopped/seeded tomatoes
    Jalapeno slices
    Black olive slices

    Recipe

Cream taco seasoning and cream cheese together. Spread in a 9 X 13 baking dish. Top with chicken. Cover chicken with coating of taco sauce (as much as you like...I use a lot). Cover with shredded cheese. Place in 350° oven for about 20 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and mixture is warmed through.

You garnish this warm dip with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, olives. Serve with tortilla chips.

This is a great dip to make and carry to parties too. Just keep the cold stuff in separate baggies and you can even warm the dip before you leave, then just garnish once you get to your party.

My Notes: I found the Chicken Fajita meat from Wal-Mart it was made by Tyson and sold frozen in a bag.

I just garnish the dip after it’s on my plate because not everyone likes jalapenos, olives.
I let them garnish however they want.
