    Hot Chicken Salad

    2 cups diced cooked chicken
    2 cups chopped celery
    ½ teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    ½ cup mayonnaise
    1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10 oz)
    2 TAB. lemon juice
    ½ cup slivered almonds
    1 TAB. grated onion
    Dash of salt
    1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped (8oz)

    Topping:
    ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 cup crushed potato chips

    Heat oven to 450
    Combine all salad ingredients: mix well.
    Spoon into greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle with topping ingredients.
    Bake for 10 minutes
