    Peach Cobbler

    List of Ingredients




    Dough:
    2 cups Biscuit mix
    1/2 cups Milk
    2 tablespoon Sugar

    FILLING:
    3 cups Peaches -- peeled, sliced
    2/3 cups Sugar
    1 tablespoon Flour
    1 teaspoonCinnamon -- divided
    1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
    2 tablespoon Butter

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix filling ingredients in pot; place on medium heat and allow to boil. Put hot fruit in bottom of buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Dot with 1 Tablespoon butter. Mix dough ingredients in separate bowl; form into ball. Roll out dough. Cover filling with rolled dough. Dot dough with butter and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake 30 minutes at 425 degrees.

    Apples, pears and plums may also be used with this recipe.
