Mom's 2 Egg Cake
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs seperated
1 3/4 cups cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milkRecipe
Cream shortening slowly with sugar till fluffy. Add vanilla and egg yolks one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Mix dry ingredients and add alternatley with milk beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat egg whites till stiff. Fold into batter. Bake at 350 degrees 25-35 minutes or till cake tests done with toothpick.
