Special Coffee Cake

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 eggs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cups sour cream Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, walnuts, cocoa, and cinnamon. Set aside. Sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. In large bowl cream butter until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in 1 cup of sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour mixture alternately with sour cream.
Into a greased 9-inch angel food cake pan, pour half of the batter, top with filling, spread remaining batter over top, evenly. Bake 1 hour or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before removing from pan.
