    Vanilla Wafer Cookies

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1 1/3 cups flour
    3/4 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or till edges are golden brown. Remove to a wire rack to cool. Yield: about 3 1/2 dozen.
