    Caramel Bread Pudding

    List of Ingredients




    This makes it's own caramel sauce and is very rich and DELICIOUS!

    1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
    6 slices bread quartered and no crusts
    2 tablespoon butter melted
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    2 1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup evaporated milk
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    2 eggs beaten
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Press sugar into bottom of an 8x8 baking dish. Place bread on top. Drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with raisins and cinnamon. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over bread gently. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees or till knife comes out clean when put near center. Serves 4


    Note:The knife test didn't work with this for me because it makes it's own sauce. I just cooked it about 3-5 minutes longer then what it said, to make sure it was done.
