    Strawberry-Rhubarb Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    Simple ot make, use this sauce on pound cake, angel food cake, pancakes and waffles, or by itself.

    4 cups rhubarb, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
    2 cups strawberries, hulled rinsed and halved
    1 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons water

    Recipe



    Combine all ingredients in a non-aluminum pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover the pan and simmer, stirring frequently, till the rhubarb is tender, about 20 minutes. Let cool. This will keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Makes about 3 cups.
