    SWEET & SPICY FRENCH DRESSING

    List of Ingredients




    Try this tangy dressing with spinach, romaine, watercress or cooked vegetables.
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 Tablespoon flour
    1/2 cup cider vinegar
    1 teaspoon salt (optional)
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 cup salad oil
    1/3 cup catsup
    1 teaspoon celery seed

    Recipe



    In a small pan mix sugar, flour and vinegar. Cook over medium heat until bubbly and thickened. Pour into blender. Ad salt, Worcestershire, onion and garlic. Whirl until smooth. With blender set on lowest speed, slowly add oil in a slow steady stream until blended. Transfer to a mixing bowl and stir in catsup and celery seed.
    This will make about 2 cups and will keep for up to 4 weeks in the fridge.
