    Pumpkin Cheese Pie

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs
    1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 cup melted butter
    3 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    9 oz. softened cream cheese
    1 1/2 cup pureed cooked pumpkin
    1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
    1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 cup sour cream

    Recipe



    Stir together the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of the sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of the cinnamon. Mix in the melted butter, and pat mixture into a deep 9-inch pie dish. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs and 3/4 cup of the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and cream cheese; beat until smooth. Stir in the pumpkin, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

    Pour into the pie shell and bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 40 minutes Remove; let stand for 5 minutes Combine the sour cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Spread on top of the pie, and bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes. Chill pie before serving.

    *Notes: Crushed Gingersnap cookies can be substituted for the graham crackers crumbs.
