    List of Ingredients




    One to two cups prunes - cooked and diced. Save one quarter cup juice,
    Two cups flour
    One cup sugar
    Two and one half teaspoons Baking Powder
    One quarter teaspoon salt
    Two eggs, beaten
    Three tablespoons salad oil
    Three quarter cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Combine reserved prune juice, eggs and oil. Add to dry ingredients, mix well. Pour into greased nine x five loaf pan. Bake at three hundred fifty degrees for one hour and ten minutes. Or until bread tests done. Let stand for ten minutes. Remove from pan to cool.
    One tablespoon orange rind may be added if desired.

    I frost with coffee frosting though it is not necessary.
