Stuffed Shells
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. large shells
- 20 oz. frozen spinach
- 1 clove minced garlic
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/4 cup parmesan or romano cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 large can pasta sauce
- 2 cups coursely grated mozzerella
Instructions
- Boil shells until firm but tender.Rinse in cold water and drain.
- Thaw spinach and squeeze out water.Mix with bread crumbs,seasonings,parmesan and egg.
- Stuff the shells and place in oiled casserole dish.
- Cover with pasta sauce and top with mozzerella.
- Bake at 350 degrees until hot and cheese is melted.
- Serve with salad and red wine.Serves 4-6.
