    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 2 3/4 teaspoons black pepper
    • 1 pound boneless sirloin steak, trimmed
    • cooking spray
    • 1 teaspoon olive oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1/2 cup beef broth
    • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
    • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
    • 3 teaspoons red wine vinegar


    Instructions


    1. Preheat broiler.
    2. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl; sprinkle over steak. Place steak on broiler rack coated with cooking spray. Broil 6 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let stand 5 minutes.

    3. While steak is standing, heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Add the broth and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until thick, stirring with a whisk. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices, and serve with sauce.

    4. Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 3 ounces steak and 3 tablespoons sauce). 227 cal, 8.8g fat, 27.1g pro, 8.5g carb, 76mg chol, 765mg sod.
