    Grilled Hoisin Chicken

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
    • 2 tablespoons vinegar
    • 4 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
    • 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions
    • 1/3 cup water
    • cayenne, to taste
    • 1 (2-1/2-3 pounds) chicken, parts


    1. In a small saucepan, cook onions in oil till tender, but not brown. Stir in Hoisin sauce and the other ingedients (except chicken). Blend well then thin with water.

    2. Marinate chicken overnight in sauce, meat side down.

    3. Grill 25 minutes, bone side down, basting often. Turn over and grill 20 minutes, or till chicken is done, basting often.

    4. Servings: 4
