    Pork Chops in San Francisco Sauce


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 1' thick pork chops
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 4 tablespoons sherry or broth
    • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 2 teaspoons oil
    • dash red pepper sauce
    • 2 tablespoons cold water
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch


    Instructions


    1. Brown chops. Remove from pan and add garlic. Cook until soft. Add chops.

    2. Make sauce from sherry,soysauce,brown sugar, oil and pepper sauce. Pour over chops, cover and let simmer for about 30 minutes, or till chops are done. Remove chops from pan.

    3. Combine cornstarch and water, add to sauce, and cook until thickened.



    Final Comments


    Double sauce ingredients for extra to serve over noodles or rice.
