    Caramel Chex Cereal


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups Corn Chex cereal
    • 2 cups Rice Chex cereal
    • 2 cups Wheat Chex cereal
    • 6 cups popped popcorn
    • 2 cups pretzel sticks
    • 1 cup honey-roasted peanuts
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
    • 1/4 cup margarine or butter--do not use spread or tub products
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350. Mix cereals, popcorn, pretzels and peanuts in large bowl; set aside.
    2. Heat brown sugar, corn syrup and margarine to boiling in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture in bowl, stirring until evenly coated.

    3. Spread in large ungreased roasting pan. Bake 20 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.

    4. 15 cups snack
