    Scallops In Pastry

    List of Ingredients






    1 lb scallops
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1/2 cup butter, approx.
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 lb mushroom, chopped
    1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
    1 tsp curry powder
    1 cup flour
    1 egg
    1 tsp lemon juice


    Recipe



    In food processor, combine flour and 1/4 tsp salt. Add 1/3 cup butter and process. Combine egg with lemon juice; add to processor until dough forms. Chill. Add 1-2 tbsp ice water if necessary. Cut up scallops and divide among buttered ramekins.Saute garlic, mushrooms and green pepper in olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Sprinkle with curry powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Spread over scallops. Roll out dough; top ramekins; vent. Bake at 450F for 15 min.
