Freezer French Toast
List of Ingredients
9 eggs
splash of milk
dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
18 pieces of bread
oil/butter
Recipe
1. In a bowl, beat 9 eggs with a splash of milk, adding a tiny bit of nutmeg and cinnamon.
2. Grease a frying pan or griddle and heat up.
3. Dip bread into egg on both sides, cook on griddle, and pile on plate to cool.
4. Spread on cookie sheets and freeze. Reheat in the microwave or toaster.
Variation: If you like those French toast sticks that the fast food companies serve, just cut yours into strips and freeze on a cookie sheet. Bake them to reheat, that will make them firmer, and let the kids dip them in syrup or fruit sauce, even applesauce.
