    SHORTCUT CABBAGE ROLLS

    List of Ingredients






    Serves 6 to 8


    4 cups shredded cabbage
    11/2 pounds ground pork
    1/2 cup uncooked rice
    3 tablespoons instant minced onion
    11/2 teaspoons salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
    8- or 16-ounce can drained sauerkraut
    6-ounce can tomato paste
    2 cups water
    Optional:


    1 cup dairy sour cream
    1 can refrigerated rolls
    Chopped parsley
    Spread cabbage in a casserole dish. Add pork, rice, instant minced onion, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic salt. Drain sauerkraut; spread over cabbage and pork mixture. Mix tomato paste and water; pour over mixture. Bake covered at 300 degrees for 11/2 hours, until rice is tender. Remove from oven.

    Optional topping: Set oven temperature at 400 degrees. Spread sour cream on casserole. Place rolls on sour cream. Sprinkle with parsley. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes
