Serving Size: 24

1 cup sugar

1 cup butter softened

1/4 tsp salt

1 egg seperated

1 tbs Jack Daniel's Whiskey

2 tsp orange peel grated

2 cups all-purpose flour sifted

1/2 cup almonds slivered

Preheat oven to 350. Beat sugar, butter and salt until creamy. Add egg yolk, whiskey and orange peel.

Beat until smooth. Gradually stir in flour. Pat dough into pan. Beat egg white until foamy., spread over dough.

Sprinkle with nuts. Bake for 20 minutes over fire, remove and add top coals. Continue baking until firm and lightly browned. Cut into squares while still warm.
