    1c cornsyrup=1 c sugar+1/4 c additional liquid used recipe

    1 Tbs prepared mustard=1 tsp dry mustard+1 TBS water

    2 TBS flour (for thickening)=1 TBS cornstarch

    1 tsp lemon juice=1/4 tsp white vinegar

    1 square unsweetened chocolate=3 TBS unsweetened cocoa powder+1 TBS butter

    1 c buttermilk=1 Tbs vinegar or lemon juice + milk to equal 1 cup

    1 c firmly packed brown sugar=1 c sugar + 2 TBS molasses

    1 c cake flour=1 c less 2 TBS all pupose flour

    1 clove garlic=1/4 tsp garlic powder

    2 c tomato sauce=3/4 c tomato paste+1 c water
