    Texas Cole Slaw

    List of Ingredients





    1 medium head of cabbage, shredd

    1 medium green pepper, finely chopped

    1 large onion, finely chopped

    1 carrot, grated

    ½ cup vegetable oil

    ½ cup vinegar

    1 cup sugar

    1 teaspoon salt

    ½ teaspoon dry mustard

    2 tablespoons chopped parsley

    ½ teaspoon ground pepper

    Recipe



    Place the cabbage, pepper, onion and carrot in a mixing bowl and toss lightly. Combine the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard, parsley and pepper, beating until smooth and well blended. Pour over vegetable mixture and toss lightly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Makes 8 servings.
