ROASTED RED PEPPER SPREAD
List of Ingredients
- 4 LARGE GARLIC CLOVES
- 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/4 CUP CHOPPED FRESH BASIL LEAVES OR 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS DRIED
- 1/4 CUP CHOPPED FRESH PARSLEY
- 1/4 CUP CHOPPED ROASTED RED PEPPERS, DRAINED
- 1 TABLESPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
- 1/2 CUP GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL
- 12 SLICES TOASTED ON BOTH SIDES FRENCH BREAD CUT INTO1/2" THICK
Instructions
- TO A FOOD PROCESSOR ADD THE GARLIC, SALT, BASIL, PARSLEY, ROASTED RED PEPPERS, WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE AND PARMESAN CHEESE. PROCESS UNTIL PUREED AND SMOOTH. WHILE RUNNING SLOWLY POUR THE OLIVE OIL TO MAKE A SMOOTH PASTE. STOP AND SCRAPE SIDES AND PROCESS UNTIL COMPLETELY SMOOTH.
- TO SERVE, SPREAD ON TOASTED FRENCH BREAD.
