BUTTERY BREADSTICKS

- 24 RHODES ROLLS, THAWED BUT STILL COLD
- 1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1/2 CUP PARMESAN CHEESE
- GARLIC SALT
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- POUR MELTED BUTTER IN AN 11 X 17" BAKING PAN.
- ROLL EACH PIECE OF DOUGH TO ABOUT A 6" LOG AND THEN ROLL IN BUTTER UNTIL COMPLETELY COATED WITH BUTTER.
- PLACE CHEESE IN A SEPARATE BOWL AND ROLL BUTTERED BREADSTICKS IN CHEESE.
- PLACE BREADSTICKS ON A BAKING SHEET IN 2 VERTICAL ROWS OF TWELVE. SPRINKLE WITH GARLIC SALT. COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP THAT WAS LIGHTLY SPRAYED WITH A VEGETABLE SPRAY. ( THIS WILL KEEP THE DOUGH FROM STICKING TO THE PLASTIC WRAP)
- LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED IN SIZE. REMOVE WRAP AND BAKE FOR 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
