TRIPLE SIN CHOCOLATE CAKE
CALLING ALL CHOCOLATE LOVERS.THIS IS AN UNBELIEVABLY RICH CAKE WHICH IS MORE LIKE A GIANT BROWNIE THAN A CAKE.
List of Ingredients
- 8 PLAIN HERSHEY CHOCOLATE BARS
- 2 STICKS BUTTER
- 4 EGGS
- 2 CUPS SUGAR
- 2 CUPS CHOPPED NUTS, OPTIONAL
- 2 1/2 CUPS SIFTED FLOUR
- 1/4 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 CUP BUTTERMILK
- 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA
- 1 CUP CHOCOLATE SYRUP
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- SOFTEN CHOCOLATE BARS IN A DOUBLE BOILER UNTIL MELTED, LET COOL.
- CREAM BUTTER TILL LIGHT, ADD SUGAR AND MIX IN, ADD EGGS AND MIX, ADD MELTED CHOCOLATE AND MIX WELL. ADD BAKING SODA TO BUTTERMILK AND MIX WELL, SET ASIDE.
- COMBINE NUTS, SALT AND FLOUR IN A BOWL. ADD ALTERNATELY WITH BUTTERMILK. STIR IN VANILLA AND CHOCOLATE SYRUP MIXING WELL.
- LINE THE BOTTOM OF A PAN GREASED AND FLOURED WITH PARCHMENT PAPER OR BROWN PAPER..
- BAKE FOR 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES. WHEN COOL, DRIZZLE MORE CHOCOLATE SYRUP ON TOP OR WITH YOUR FAVORITE CHOCOLATE FUDGE FROSTING.
