CINNAMON CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS #1
List of Ingredients
- 1/3 CUPS ELMER'S GLUE
- 1 LB GROUND CINNAMON
- 1 CUP MORE OR LESS UNSWEETENED APPLESAUCE
- 1/4 CUP GROUOND CLOVES
Instructions
- COMBINE THE SPICES TOGETHER. MIX IN APPLESAUCE 1/4 CUP AT A TIME UNTIL YOU GET A STIFF BUT SOMEWHAT STICKY DOUGH.
- GREASE A COOKIE SHEET WITH A VEGETABLE SPRAY AND GREASE YOUR HANDS.
- PAT DOUGH ONTO A GREASED SURFACE AND CUT OUT WITH CHRISTMAS COOKIE CUTTERS, BEAR SHAPES AND GINGERBREAD MEN SHAPES LOOK GOOD WITH THE BROWN DOUGH, YOU CAN ADD FACES WITH WHOLE CLOVES.
- CAREFULLY PUT THE COOKIES ONTO A COOKIE SHEET AND POKE A HOLE IN THE TOP FOR THE HANGER AND BAKE IN A PREHEATED 300° OVEN UNTIL HARD, 15 MINUTES OR SO, DEPENDING HOW THICK THE DOUGH IS, KEEP CHECKING UNTIL THEY ARE NO LONGER STICKY. LET COOL AND TIE WITH A RIBBON TO HANG.
