BUTTER NUT BALLS
List of Ingredients
- 1 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 2 EGG YOLKS
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 2 2/3 CUP FLOUR
- 1 CUP CHOPPED PECANS
- 1 TEASPOOON VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 CUP CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN 350°.
- IN A MEDIUM BOWL, CREAM THE BUTTER, SUGAR AND EGG YOLKS UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. STIR IN THE VANILLA, THEN THE FLOUR AND FINALLY ADD THE NUTS.
- ROLL DOUGH INTO WALNUT SIZED BALLS, PLACE 2" APART ON AN UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.
- BAKE FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES UNTIL SLIGHTLY BROWNED. COOL. ROLL COOKIES IN CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR.
- MAKES 4 DOZEN
