CHOCOLATE CHIP PUDDING COOKIES
List of Ingredients
- 1 CUP SWEET BUTTER OR MARGARINE
- 1/4 CUP SUGAR
- 3/4 CUPS BROWN PACKED SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 2 BEATEN EGGS
- 1 PACKAGE INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING, 4 SERVING SIZE
- 2 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
- 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
- 12 OUNCE PACKAGE SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- CHOPPED PECANS OR WALNUTS, OPTIONAL
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375°. GREASE A COOKIE SHEET AND SET ASIDE.
- BEAT THE BUTTER AND THE TWO SUGARS TOGETHER UNTIL CREAMY AND SMOOTH. BEAT IN EGGS AND VANILLA.
- COMBINE DRY PUDDING MIX WITH THE BUTTER MIXTURE AND BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH AND CREAMY.
- COMBINE TOGETHER THE FLOUR AND BAKING SODA, ADD GRADUALLY. MIX CHOCOLATE CHIPS INTO DOUGH AND NUTS IF USING. THE BATTER SHOULD BE STIFF.
- DROP BY SPOONFULS ONTO COOKIE SHEET.
- BAKE FOR 8 TO 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. LET REST ON COOKIE SHEET FOR 2 TO 3 MINUTES TILL COOL BEFORE REMOVING. REMOVE TO A WIRE RACK TO COOL COMPLETELY.
- THESE COOKIES ARE VERY SOFT.
