- 8 OUNCE SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
- 1/4 CUP SOFTENED BUTTER
- 2 TEASPOONS HEAVY CREAM OR MILK
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 4 CUPS CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR, SIFTED
Instructions
- IN A MIXING BOWL, BEAT CREAM CHEESE, BUTTER, HEAVY CREAM OR MILK AND VANILLA UNTIL CREAMY AND SMOOTH.
- GRADUALLY BEAT IN CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR ON LOW SPEED, 1 CUP AT A TIME, UNTIL CREAMY SMOOTH AND SPREADABLE.
- ( FROSTS A 13 X9" PAN OR FILLS AND FROSTS ONE 8 OR 9" TWO LAYER CAKE. REFRIGERATE ANY REMAINING FROSTING).
- CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: ADD 2 OUNCES OF MELTED BITTERSWEET CHOCOLATE THAT IS COOLED WITH THE BUTTER.
