    FROZEN PEANUT BUTTER PIE

    IF YOU LIKE PEANUT BUTTER, THEN THIS PIE IS FOR YOU. TOPPED WITH CHOCOLATE FUDGE, THIS CREAMY RICH FLAVORED PEANUT BUTTER PIE IS JUST OUT OF THIS WORLD. THIS RECIPE CAME FROM EAGLE BRAND CONDENSED MILK.


    List of Ingredients


    • PIE CRUST:
    • 1/3 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE
    • 1 ( 6 OUNCE PKG SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
    • 2 1/2 CUPS TOASTED RICE CEREAL
    • FILLING:
    • 1 ( 8 OUNCE ) SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
    • 1 ( 14 OUNCE ) CAN OF EAGLE BRAND SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK
    • 3/4 CUP PEANUT BUTTER ( CREAMY OR CHUNKY)
    • 2 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
    • 4 OUNCES OF FROZEN NON DAIRY WHIPPED TOPPING, THAWED
    • CHOCOLATE FUDGE ICE CREAM TOPPING


    Instructions


    1. PIE CRUST:

    2. IN A HEAVY SAUCEPAN, OVER LOW HEAT, MELT 1/3 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE, ADD 6 OUNCES OF SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND GENTLY STIR UNTIL CHIPS ARE MELTED. GENTLY STIR IN THE TOASTED RICE CEREAL UNTIL COMPLETELY COATED.

    3. PRESS ON BOTTOM AND UP SIDES OF A BUTTERED 9" OR 10" PIE PLATE. CHILL IN REFRIGERATOR FOR 30 MINUTES.

    4. FILLING:

    5. IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, BEAT CHEESE UNTIL FLUFFY, GRADUALLY BEAT IN SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK THEN THE PEANUT BUTTER UNTIL SMOOTH.

    6. STIR IN LEMON JUICE AND VANILLA. FOLD IN NON DAIRY WHIPPED TOPPING AND MIX WELL. POUR INTO PREPARED CRUST.

    7. DRIZZLE CHOCOLATE FUDGE TOPPING OVER PIE AND FREEZE FOR 4 HOURS OR UNTIL FIRM. COVER AND RETURN LEFTOVERS TO FREEZER.
