KAHLUA PECAN PIE
List of Ingredients
- 9" FROZEN PIE CRUST. SET ASIDE
- 1/4 CUP SWEET BUTTER
- 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
- 3 EGGS
- 1/2 CUP KAHLUA
- 1/2 CUP DARK CORN SYRUP
- 3/4 CUPS EVAPORATED MILK
- 1 CUP WHOLE OR CHOPPED PECANS
- WHIPPED CREAM
- PECAN HALVES
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°.
- IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, CREAM TOGETHER THE BUTTER, VANILLA AND FLOUR, MIX WELL TO BLEND.
- BEAT IN EGGS, ONE AT A TIME. STIR IN KAHLUA, CORN SYRUP, EVAPORATED MILK AND PECANS. MIX WELL.
- POUR INTO PIE PAN. BAKE FOR 10 MINUTES.
- REDUCE OVEN HEAT TO 325°. CONTINUE BAKING UNTIL FIRM, ABOUT 40 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL. PLACE IN REFRIGERATOR TO CHILL.
- DOT WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND PECAN HALVES IF YOU WISH.
- SERVES 8 TO 10
