    PEANUT BUTTER MOUSSE PIE

    THIS IS A DELICIOUS PEANUT BUTTER PIE. I HAVING BEEN MAKING IT FOR QUITE AWHILE. I FOUND THIS RECIPE IN A MAGAZINE, WHICH I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE THE CREDIT, BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER WHICH ONE IT WAS.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 CUP CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER
    • 3/4 CUPS SUGAR
    • 1 ( 8 OUNCE ) NEUFCHATEL OR REGULAR CREAM CHEESE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
    • 2 TABLESPOONS 1/2 N 1/2 OR REGULAR MILK
    • 1 CUP OF HEAVY CREAM OR REGULAR COOL WHIP
    • 1 CHOCOLATE PIE CRUST


    Instructions


    1. IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, BEAT PEANUT BUTTER, SUGAR, CREAM CHEESE AND MILK WITH MIXER ON MEDIUM UNTIL SMOOTH AND WELL BLENDED.
    2. IN ANOTHER MIXING BOWL, WHIP HEAVY CREAM UNTIL IT HOLDS SOFT PEAKS ( OR SAVE YOUSELF SOMETIME AND USE COOL WHIP, WHICH I HAVE). GENTLY FOLD WHIPPED CREAM OR COOL WHIP INTO THE PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE.
    3. SPOON INTO PIE CRUST ( COVER WITH PLASTIC TOP WHICH COMES WITH THE CRUST). CHILL UNTIL FILLING IS SET, ABOUT 4 HOURS OR OVERNIGHT.


    Final Comments


    WHEN READY TO SERVE, DECORATE WITH CHOCOLATE FUDGE ICE CREAM TOPPING OR WITH SHAVED CHOCOLATE.
