TOMATO SPRING ONION QUICHE
List of Ingredients
- 1 DEEP DISH FROZEN PIE CRUST
- 1 CUP SLICED ONION
- 4 STRIPS BACON, COOKED CRISP
- 1 CUP GRATED CHEDDAR CHEESE
- 5 EGGS
- 3/4 CUP HALF AND HALF
- 1/2 TEASPOON SALT
- 1/4 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER
- 1/8 TEASPOON GARLIC POWDER
- 3 OR 4 PLUM TOMATOES, THICKLY SLICED
- 1/2 TO 1 TEASPOON ITALIAN SEASONING
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- COOK BACON UNTIL CRISP, DRAIN AND CRUMBLE. SPREAD SLICED ONIONS OVER PIE CRUST. TOP WITH CRUMBLED BACON AND CHEESE.
- TO A BLENDER ADD EGGS, HALF AND HALF, SALT, PEPPER, AND GARLIC POWDER AND BLEND UNTIL WELL MIXED. POUR OVER INGREDIENTS IN PIE CRUST. CAREFULLY ARRANGE TOMATO SLICES ON TOP AND SPRINKLE WITH ITALIAN HERBS.
- BAKE FOR APPROXIMATELY 30 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND SET.
