MOIST NUT BREAD
List of Ingredients
- 3 1/3 CUPS FLOUR
- 3 CUPS SUGAR
- 2 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 1 TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON
- 4 EGGS
- 2 JARS ( 6 OUNCE EACH) STRAINED APRICOT BABY FOOD
- 1 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
- 2/3 CUPS WATER
- 1 TABLESPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS, YOUR CHOICE
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. GREASE 2 ( 9 X 5 X 3") LOAF PANS. SET ASIDE
- IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, COMBINE THE FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING SODA, SALT AND GROUND CINNAMON. SET ASIDE.
- IN ANOTHER BOWL, COMBINE THE EGGS, APRICOT BABY FOOD, OIL, WATER AND VANILLA EXTRACT, WHISKING UNTIL WELL BLENDED. STIR INTO DRY INGREDIENTS AND MIX UNTIL WELL BLENDED. STIR IN NUTS.
- POUR INTO PREPARED LOAF PANS AND BAKE FOR 50 TO 60 MINUTES OR UNTIL A TESTER INSERTED NEAR THE CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL IN PANS FOR 15 MINUTES BEFORE REMOVING TO A WIRE RACK TO COOL COMPLETELY.
