FUDGY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES
List of Ingredients
- 5 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
- 1 OOUNCE UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE
- 2/3 CUP UNSWEETENED COCOA
- 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
- 3 LARGE EGG WHITES, LIGHTLY BEATEN
- 1 LARGE EGG, LIGHTLY BEATEN
- 1 CUP FLOUR
- 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 325°.
- MELT BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT. STIR IN COCOA, COOK 1 MINUTE. STIR IN SUGAR AND COOK 1 MINUTE LONGER. REMOVE PAN FROM HEAT AND COOL SLIGHTLY.
- COMBINE EGG WHITES AND EGG MIXING WELL. GRADUALLY ADD WARM CHOCOLATE MIXTURE TO EGG MIXTURE, STIRRING WITH A WIRE WHISK UNTIL WELL BLENDED.
- COMBINE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER, ADD TO CHOCOLATE MIXTURE, STIRRING WELL.
- POUR BATTER INTO A GREASED 9" SQUARE BAKING PAN. BAKE FOR 27 MINUTES ( DO NOT OVER BAKE).
- COOL IN PAN ON A WIRE RACK.
- 20 SERVINGS
