SALTINE CRACKER TREAT

- SALTINE CRACKERS
- 1 CUP SUGAR
- 1 CUP BUTTER
- 12 OUNCES SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- CHOPPED NUTS OF YOUR CHOICE
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 400°. LINE A COOKIE SHEET WITH FOIL.
- PLACE SALTINE CRACKERS IN THE PAN EDGE TO EDGE TOUCHING EACH OTHER TO FILL THE PAN.
- BRING THE SUGAR AND BUTTER IN A SMALL PAN TO A BOIL. BOIL 3 MINUTES STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
- POUR OVER CRACKERS AND BAKE 5 MINUTES.
- SPRINKLE THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS OVER HOT CRACKERS AND SPREAD WHEN THE CHOCOLATE IS MELTED. SPRINKLE WITH NUTS AND REFRIGERATE.
- REMOVE FROM OVEN AND BREAK INTO SMALL PIECES. STORE IN COVERED CONTAINER.
