Butterfly Brew
Ingredients
1 bottle flat beer
2 boxes dark brown sugar
4 mashed bananas
Combine all three ingredients in a bucket and mix well. Use a paintbrush to apply the mixture to tree trunks, fence rails, and stumps in your yard. Reapply every day for a week, then weekly thereafter. Then sit back and enjoy - butterflies will visit your garden regularly
This stuff is great! Monarchs love it - as do many other varieties. A jewel green beetle has also been seen arriving in order to sample (no idea what it is, just jewelry to me :^)
