    Source of Recipe

This recipe was given to me by my friend Phyllis

    Recipe Introduction

Phyllis brought my family a loaf of this scrumpcious bread and I had to have the recipe. I've never tasted banana nut bread that had a crusty top. This is my favorite recipe now.

    List of Ingredients

    3 C. Sugar
    3\4 C. Butter (1 stick & 1\4)
    3 eggs
    1 1\2 tsp vanilla
    2 C. mashed ripe bananas
    1\2 C. sour cream
    3 1\2 C. Flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1\2 C. chopped walnuts

    Recipe

    Preheat Oven to 325' F.
    Lightly butter & flour 2 8" x 4" loaf pans
(or 6 mini loaf pans) - - baking time for mini's 50 min.

In a large bowl, cream sugar, butter & vanilla until fluffy. Stir in eggs one at a time, beating with each addition.

Stir in bananas and sour cream.

In a second bowl, combine flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon and walnuts; stir into banana mixture just until combined.

Pour into pans. Bake about 55-60 min for large loaf pans or 50 min for 6 mini loaves

Ovens vary - check bread with toothpick, when it comes out clean remove from oven - cool on wire rack.

You know what to do from here!
    ENJOY ~V
