    List of Ingredients


    • 500g (1 lb.) beef top sirloin cut into 1 inch (22 cm) cubes
    • 1 medium sweet onion, quartered
    • 8 whole fresh mushrooms
    • 1 large red bell pepper,cut into 1 inch (22 cm) pieces
    • 75 mL (1/3 cup) currant, grape or apple jelly
    • 60 mL (1/4 cup) barbeque sauce
    • 5 mL (1 tsp) mustard
    • 4 wooden or metal skewers


    Instructions


    1. Using 4 metal or wooden skewers, assemble kabobs by alternately threading beef, onion, muchroom & pepper.
    2. In a small saucepan, combine jelly, barbeque sauce and mustard. Heat over medium heat until jelly melts, about 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    3. Brush half the glaze on kabobs, reserving half for later.
    4. Grill kabobs on the barbeque or broil in the oven for about 12 to 14 minutes. Turn once and baste with the remaining glaze halfway through grilling.

    Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using.
