    Serves 4. 2 pts. per serving.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 4 slices reduced-calorie white bread, crumbled
    • 1 tsp. dried basil
    • 1/8 tsp. black pepper
    • 4 (2-oz.) white fish fillets
    • 2 tsp. reduced-calorie margarine
    • 1/2 tsp. paprika


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. SPray 8x8-inch baking dish with butter-flavored cooking spray.
    2. In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, saute onions until tender. Add bread crumbs, basil and black pepper. Mix well.
    3. Layer stuffing mixture evenly in baking dish. Place fish fillets on top of stuffing. Melt margarine and drizzle over fish. Sprinkle paprika on top.
    4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily.


    Final Comments


    Hint: Use day-old or slightly dried bread. It makes good crumbs.
