    Recipe Introduction


    Serving is 1 cup and 3 pts per serving. Very nice, light and fresh recipe.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (9-oz) package refrigerated low-fat cheese tortellini
    • 1(9-oz) package frozen broccoli cuts
    • 2 1/2 cups quartered cherry tomatoes
    • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
    • 1 tbsp. fresh grated Paremsan or Romano cheese
    • 1 1/2 tsp. olive or vegetable oil
    • 4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
    • 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
    • salt and freshly ground pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Cook tortellini according to package directions, adding frozen broccoli during last 2 to 3 minutes of cooking time; drain thoroughly and return to saucepan or place in serving bowl.
    2. Add remaining ingredients except salt and pepper; toss gently. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
