1 C. flour
3 C. boiling water
1 C. cold water
1 T. food coloring
Freezer paper - for an artist's canvass

Directions: Combine flour and cold water in a sauce pan. Add boiling water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add food coloring. Remove from heat.
You can divide mixture and add small amounts of different coloring to each. Allow to cool.
Roll up the sleeves and let the children mess to their hearts' content. An old shirt of Dad's with the sleeves cut off makes a great smock.
