List of Ingredients




1 cup butter
1/3 cup whipping cream
2 cups flour
sugar

filling:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
food coloring

Combine butter, cream and flour. Mix well. Refrigerate 2 hours. Roll out dough 1/8" thick. Cut with a round 1 1/2" cookie cutter. Place in a bowl of sugar, coat both sides. Prick with fork. Bake at 350° for 8 minutes. (do not overbake!!) Cool.
Cream butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla and food coloring. Spread 1 tsp. on a cookie, top with another cookie.
