This recipe was given to me by my mom's friend Jody from Spokane


List of Ingredients




CHERRY IGLOO DESSERT

Bake a yellow or white cake mix in two 9” layer pans according to package directions. Cool.

Beat 4 oz. Cream cheese and 1/3 cup sugar together.
Whip 1 cup cream and FOLD into above with ½ tsp. Vanilla.

Split ONE layer in half. Spread with about 1/3 of the above between the split layers. Spread remaining mixture on top and on sides.

Pour 1 can Wilderness cherry pie filling mix on top and let it drip down sides. Chill. Serve. Really Enjoy.

Remember, this mixture is for just 1 of the layers. You can either make another “igloo” or save the 2nd for future use or whatever.

I have made a huckleberry topping , or blueberry for this and it IS GOOD
