    Maggie Mae's tea room chicken Salad

    List of Ingredients




    3 cups cooked chicken, chopped into 1-inch cubes

    1/2 cup fresh apples, chopped

    3/4 fresh red grapes, halved

    1/2 cup pecan halves, chopped

    1/2 cup celery chopped

    1/4 cup sweet yellow onion, chopped

    For the dressing:

    3/4 cups mayonnaise

    1/4 cup sour cream

    1 tablespoon honey

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/8 teaspoon white pepper

    1/8 teaspoon seasoning salt

    1/2 teaspoon juice from fresh squeezed lemon

    For serving:

    10 to 12 croissants

    honey butter

    In a large bowl, mix together the salad ingredients until well combined.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the dressing ingredients well, until fully blended.

    Transfer the dressing ingredients to the salad mixture and toss to fully combine the two. Cover, refrigerate and chill for at least half hour.

    To serve: Brush croissants with honey butter and lightly grill. Place chicken salad on top of the grilled croissant for each single serving.
