    Oyster Stew

    List of Ingredients




    1 pint milk
    1/2 cup cream
    1/4 cup butter
    2 pints oysters (with liquid)
    1 tsp salt
    dash of pepper

    Heat milk and cream to scalding. Melt butter in separate saucepan; add oysters and liguid. Cook gently just
    until oyster edges curl. Add to scalled milk and cream. Season with salt and pepper; serve immediately with
    oyster crackers.
