    Jello Poke Cake

    List of Ingredients





    1 pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix or
    pudding-included cake mix

    1 pkg. (3oz) Jello gelatin, any flavor

    1 cup boiling water

    1/2 cup cold water

    Directions
    Prepare cake batter as directed on package and pour into
    well-greased and floured 13x9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees
    for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in center comes
    out clean. Cool cake in pan 15 minutes, then prick with fork at
    1/2 inch intervals. Meanwhile, dissolve Jello in boiling water.
    Add cold water and carefully pour over cake. Chill 3 to 4 hours.
    Garnish with whipped topping if desired.

    Variations: If using 8 or 9-inch cake layers, you could use 2
    different colors of Jello. You would unmold by dipping cake pan
    in warm water for 10 seconds and using whipped topping as
    icing.
