    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 cup ketchup (tomato puree)
    1 cup water (add last because you may not need or need less)
    1/3 cup cider vinegar (or rice or pineapple)
    1/4 cup dark brown sugar (I combine all the sugars and use
    2 Tbls molasses only maple syrup or honey)
    1 Tbls onion powder (or chopped onion - will be pureed)
    1 Tbls garlic powder (or fresh garlic)
    1 Tbls black pepper
    1 Tbls celery salt (or 1/2 stalk fresh celery)
    1 tsp allspice
    1 tsp cayenne (optional if you don't like heat)

    Recipe



    Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and
    puree until well blended.

    Naola's Notes: I start with tomato puree (my own) and I would puree everything in the food processor as well. I prefer fresh ingredients.
