List of Ingredients
1 lb (500 g) ground turkey
1 small onion, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes, undrained (28 oz / 796 ml)
1 can chickpeas, rinsed & drained (14 oz / 398 ml)
1 can kidney beans, rinsed & drained (14 oz / 398 ml)
1 can black beans, rinsed & drained (14 oz / 398 ml)
1 can tomato sauce (8 oz / 227 g)
1 can mild green chilies, chopped (4 oz / 115 g)
2 tbsp (30 ml) chili powder
Recipe
In large pot, over medium heat, cook turkey and onion. Stir and cook until turkey is no longer pink.
Add tomatoes with juice, beans, tomato sauce, chilies and chili powder. Mix well. Cover and simmer for 3 hours.
Serves 6. May be doubled or tripled for OAMcooking. Freezes and reheats well.
