List of Ingredients
* 125 ml (1/2 cup) boiling hot green tea
* 15 ml (1 tablespoon) powdered milk or liquid soy beverage
* 250 ml (1 cup) ice cubes
* 250 ml (1 cup) mango, pear or banana nectar, chilled
* 60 ml (1/4 cup) tapioca pearls, cooked and chilled (see note)Recipe
Pour the tea and powdered milk or soy beverage into a blender.
Blend for 1 second.
Add the ice and fruit nectar. Pulse for several seconds.
Spoon the tapioca into 2 large glasses. Add the tea mixture.
Place fat straws in the glasses and serve.
Note: To cook tapioca pearls, follow the directions on the
package. It is usually recommended to cook them uncovered in boiling water over medium heat. After removing the pan from the heat, cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
